I have been breeding Golden Retrievers since 1983. I am a life member of the Canadian Kennel Club and longtime member of the Golden Retriever Club of Alberta and the Golden Retriever Club of America.
Over the years my breeding program has produced numerous Best in Show winners , Best in Specialty winners on both sides of the border, High in Trial winners ,Obedience Trial Champions , American Champions as well as tracking and retrieving titled dogs and of course , many beloved family companions. I am very proud that many of our puppy people have returned to purchase another dog from me years later.
We support New Horizons Service Dogs of Orange City, Florida with donations of dogs and stud services to their program. I strive, through knowledge of pedigrees, to consistently produce sound, typey goldens with proper reach and drive. As one specialty judge said of my dogs "Built right, so they move right" My dogs have also been used for judges education programs in both Canada and the US.
The best compliment I get is puppy people being stopped on the street and asked if they have a "Verdoro Dog"
We are located about 20 minutes east of Edmonton, Alberta on a lovely 40 acre parcel of rolling land. We have 2-2 acre paddocks and another 1/2 acre paddock to keep our dogs exercised and safe.

Scent Hurdle Dog
Galen (Ch Verdoro's Faere Galen CD WC SHDCh CGN) has attained her scent hurdle championship, and in the fall of 2005 earned her WC. In May, 2007, Galen came out of retirement and earned the first leg of her CDX, and has been competing in Veteran's Obedience as well.
